Information for Gopher Football Spring Game

 

The Gophers Football Parents Club once again has the opportunity to show “what we can do” by participating with Goal Line Club in feeding 2010 Golden Gopher football team after the spring game will be held at 1:30 PM on April 24th, 2010 at TCF Bank Stadium.  We really want to provide a home style menu by serving a meal that the players normally would not receive at their training table.

 

So dust off your cookbooks and bring your favorite homemade picnic dish.

 

Here’s how it’s going to work: Immediately after the game, players, coaches, parents, families and friends who have signed up will go back to the Goal Line Club tent for the Picnic which is outside Williams Arena across from TCF Bank Stadium on University Avenue.

 

Parents will need to bring sides or desserts:

Examples would include Pasta Salads, Jell-O Salads, Fruit Salad, Bars, Cakes, Cookies, Dessert or any other family favorite. If you don’t have time, opportunity, or are coming in from out of town, to make a homemade dish, please feel free to bring whatever you can or team up with another family.   

*Please bring your portions for 25-30 People*  

 

Just a suggestion for those families or friends attending:

·        Seniors– dessert

·        Juniors – cold salads

·        Sophomores – fruit, veggies or appetizers

·        Freshman – bottled beverages, such as water, soda, Gatorade or juice

 

We would like to have Freshman and Junior parents’ set-up for the event and Sophomore and Senior parents tear down following the event.

You will be able to drop off your food before the spring game outside Williams Arena where the Goal Line Club /Parents Club tail gate area is located.
